Alena Grace Weber has lived in the Lake Tahoe/Reno area for four years. ‘I think this area is one of the most beautiful places to shoot because of the constant change in color,’ she wrote in a personal bio. ‘I have shot orange sunsets above Incline Village and turquoise and cobalt waters along the East Shore. The landscape of the Tahoe Basin never ceases to amaze me.’

Weber started to pursue photography in 2003 when she spent the summer in Alaska. Her initial encounter with photography led her to a great love — borderline obsession — of capturing the natural world.

‘I love sharing my images with those who may never get to visit a certain area or climb a 10,000-foot peak,’ Weber wrote. ‘I hope everyone who views my work will appreciate the world as I see it through my lens.’
