North Tahoe Arts (NTA) offers a great solution to the lack of art venues – the bare walls in local businesses. Everyone wins; the public enjoys the art pieces, the businesses look beautiful and the exhibiting artists are rewarded when they sell their work. In Truckee
 • At the Truckee Library you will be able to see lovely watercolors created by Eileen Nagle.
 • At the Cottonwood restaurant Andrea Carabetta has more than 30 water colors on exhibit.
• Nik ‘ N Willies pizza, located in the Westgate Plaza, will feature Loreen Thomas with black and white photographs of the Tahoe area.
• The Squeeze Inn will have on exhibit beautiful watercolors by Carla Platt.
• The Lodge at Tahoe Donner on Northwoods Blvd. will have a bold and exciting exhibit by Sara Zimmerman.
•U.S. Bank, on Donner Pass Road near the hospital, will feature the work of Ken Mann and Cathy Shaffer.  Ken works in a variety of mediums, acrylic and oils and some pastels. Cathy is a fine watercolorist.
 
In Tahoe City
• U.S. Bank is featuring  dynamic watercolors created by Cathy Shaffer.
• Bank of America will feature Deborah Rich, who works in a variety of mediums, acrylic, charcoal, oil and watercolor.
• State Farm Insurance in Tahoe City will feature beautiful paintings by Loreen Thomas.  Loreen works in various mediums, oils, pastels, and acrylics.  She paints a variety of local scenes.
