As a longtime professor of environmental science and mathematics at Sierra Nevada College in Incline Village, Steve Ellsworth has developed a passion for landscape photography using Lake Tahoe as inspiration. His Tahoe images have appeared in a variety of national media outlets, including NBC Nightly News, CBS News, and the Associated Press, and in numerous publications in the Reno/Tahoe area. Ellsworth is especially interested in capturing images associated with the movement of water and likes to use long exposures and HDR (high dynamic range) techniques.
