I first met Ryan Bahlman (RYNo) years ago on a snowboard trip with Volcom in the Northern California backcountry also known as “the garden.” RYNo’s passion for art as well as a new-found love for snowboarding opened the doors to the world of graphic design in the snowboard industry at an early age. Born and raised in the Lake Tahoe area, RYNo’s snowboarding skills are at a level that could have taken him to the professional side but he chose not to because he views snowboarding as something that needed to be kept sacred.
RYNo began designing art for Volcom clothing in the early 1990s. His talent was quickly recognized and shortly after he was warmly invited to start designing snowboard graphics for us here at Lib Technologies in 2000. RYNo’s art can be seen on many editions of the TRS Series and Travis Rice’s pro models for 2009/10. RYNo’s love for the environment he surrounds himself with comes to life in the vivid colorful images that always bring a smile to our faces.

RYNo is currently focusing on his own project, an art-inspired clothing company, RYNoART Apparel, coming summer 2017.
