It’s a Small World

There was an old miner who was not a miner at all, but a woodworking artist. He crafted miniatures of Truckee landmarks, using salvaged historical lumber, recreating them as whimsical birdhouses for his NeatTweets line. (He also took PBS on a walking tour of Truckee’s history for an episode aired last December.) Visit the Museum of Truckee History, located in the historic train depot building in downtown Truckee to see one of his many birdhouses.
For inquiries about NeatTweets, call (707) 217-3690.
