2017 Sacramento Housing Market: Hot, Hot, Hot

Realtor.com predicts that the greater Sacramento area will be the “nation’s fourth-hottest housing market next year, as measured by price appreciation and growth in sales volume. Sacramento trailed only Phoenix, Los Angeles, and Boston in Realtor.com’s rankings of the 100 largest metro areas,” the Sacramento Bee reported in late November. Rising mortgage rates and other factors are expected to trigger a slowdown across the nation’s housing market, but Sacramento looks better than most due to “solid job creation and ‘pure, sheer population growth,’” much of which is anticipated to be spillover from the Bay Area.

Two Chase Agents Ranked Among Top 10 Regional Women
NEVADA
Chase International’s Nicolle Gust and Megan Lowe were recently named two of the top 10 women in real estate by the Northern Nevada Women’s Council of Realtors. The award is designed to recognize women within the industry who balance a productive career with volunteerism and the ability to raise a family while not having to choose one over the other.
Gust is extremely active with the Northern Nevada R.A.V.E. Foundation, which provides respite to local families. She’s also involved with the Trauma Intervention Program of Northern Nevada, Casa de Vida Reno, University of Nevada, Reno Athletics, and is an ardent supporter of the arts.
Lowe is active with the UNR College of Business Alumni Association. She also serves on the board of the Reno Tahoe Young Professionals Network where she works to connect the community with nonprofit organizations.
“I love spending time mentoring colleagues. I am a believer in helping others to advance their careers,” Lowe said. “Being ethical, honest, and hardworking has contributed to my accomplishments in the last year. I also believe it’s important to give back to my community while I am young and have the energy.”
