WRONG WAY, Oct. 18, 6:45 a.m., Glenshire Drive: An unlicensed driver was traveling into the opposing lane of traffic causing another driver to swerve into the dirt shoulder to avoid collision. The unlicensed driver was cited and released.
FOUND IN A DITCH, Oct. 18, 8:09 p.m., Northwoods Boulevard: Officers responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch. The driver was subsequently arrested for a DUI.
FRIENDS TELL ON FRIENDS, Oct. 18, 9:16 p.m., Jeffery Way: A victim contacted a friend via text message to report domestic abuse. The friend, in turn, then contacted police. An investigation followed and resulted in the arrest of a subject.
FOUND VEHICLE, Oct. 19, 10:43, Brockway Road: During a possible domestic violence call a reported stolen vehicle was discovered and the involved suspects were arrested.
COUPLE O’ POUNDS, Oct. 20, 1:06, Truckee: Vehicle stop was conducted for a vehicle code violation. Several pounds of marijuana were discovered in the vehicle and the driver was arrested.
LOST IN THE BIG CITY, Oct. 20, 12:27 a.m., Glenshire Drive: A mother reported her adult son as missing. The son was later located when he called from San Francisco to report he was OK.
NOT GOING STRAIGHT, Oct. 22, 12:53 a.m., Truckee: After seen driving erratically, a driver was determined to be DUI.
ANOTHER DUI CASE, Oct. 22, 2:02 a.m., Truckee: A driver was stopped for a code violation and driving indicative of being impaired. The driver was arrested for DUI.
BAD PICK-UP, Oct. 22, 2:25 a.m. Truckee: A subject arrived to pick up his/her brother downtown, but was found to have a suspended driver’s license from a recent DUI. The subject was cited and transported home.
THE APP DECLARES IT STOLEN, Oct. 22, 8:29 a.m., Donner Pass Road: A report for a lost cell phone was taken. The phone was last seen at Ace Mountain Hardware., The app ‘Find My iPhone’ later indicated that the phone was in Reno.
BYGONES AREN’T YET BYGONES, Oct. 22, 4:40 p.m., Martis Drive: An ex-husband and an ex-wife were involved in a verbal argument.
SOMEONE IS PEEVED, Oct. 23, 1:19 a.m., Waters Way: An unknown subject threw a rock through a living room window.
A BUNCH OF BLANK CHECKS, Oct. 25, 12:19 p.m., Donner Pass Road: A checkbook was located by a reporting party in the parking lot of the local Chamber of Commerce. The owner was contacted and advised.
KIND OF DESERVED, Oct. 25, 11:32 p.m., Zurich Place: An intoxicated subject annoyed a family dog until the dog bit the subject. The case was referred to animal services.
R.I.P., Oct. 28, 5:36 p.m., Northwoods Boulevard: A death investigation was conducted for a deceased female found by her landlord.
SCREWED OVER, Oct. 30, 6:53 p.m., Deerfield Drive: Two subjects were involved in a minor physical altercation in a restaurant. One subject attempted to stab the other with a corkscrew. Neither party was injured.
