THREATS, June 11, 10:11 a.m., Truckee: Nevada County Crisis Stabilization Unit called to report that one of their clients made threats to a local business. An informational report was taken to document the circumstances.

HUGS NOT DRUGS, June 12, 7:10 p.m., Truckee: During an enforcement stop, the driver of a vehicle was arrested for possessing drug paraphernalia and for driving with a suspended license. Her passenger was the subject of several active out-of-county warrants for which he was also arrested.

ATM THEFT, June 14, 11:37 a.m., Truckee: An ATM Card compromised at an unknown location and 900 dollars taken from the account.

The male became angry with the bystander and attempted to fight him. The man was arrested for public intoxication.

ABUSE, June 16, 8:51 p.m., Truckee: In the morning a boyfriend and girlfriend argued about a new tattoo she got and boyfriend ending up “poking” girlfriend with a knife when he tried to stab her leg. In a second incident, the boyfriend spat on her and pulled her neckless off, scratching her neck. Finally, boyfriend broke the window of her truck while she left the area.

Subject placed into handcuffs and elbowed an officer in the chest and later head-butted the officer. He then spits on and threatened other officers after his arrest and during transport to jail. Subject booked for multiple charges.

OH, DEER, July 11, 9:19 p.m., Truckee: R/P reported a deer was lying at the shoulder of the roadway with no use of its rear legs after a vehicle collided with the animal. The deer, still alive, was dispatched with the department issued shotgun.

DRUNKNESS, July 11, 12:06 p.m., Truckee: R/P reported subject entered the store in a drunken state. When the subject was asked to leave an argument followed, and law enforcement was contacted. The subject was later approached and arrested for drunk in public.
