BIKED AWAY, 7 p.m., June 18, North Lake Boulevard, Kings Beach: An unknown suspect stole a $9000 mountain bike from a bike rack on a car. The bike was unsecured.
REPEAT OFFENDER?, June 18, 7:30 p.m., North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City: An unknown suspect stole a someone’s $5500 mountain bike off her car rack.
AND AGAIN?!, June 19, 12 p.m., Brockway Summit, Kings Beach: An unknown suspect cut the cable lock and stole a $10,000 mountain bike from a car bike rack.
SLEEPER, June 20, 8:45 p.m., Jackpine Road, Tahoe City: A man was found passed out on a park bench and heavily intoxicated. He was taken into protective custody and no charges will be filed.
DEEP IN CONVERSATION, June 21, 10:30 a.m., North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe Vista: A deputy made contact with a female who was talking to herself. It was determined that the woman had a $250,000 warrant out of San Bernadino. She was cited and released per that court.
A BREAKFAST ROBBERY, June 22, 8:45 p.m., West Lake Boulevard, Tahoma: Report was taken for a woman who stole a cup of coffee, donuts and a pack of cigarettes. She was later located but the victim declined prosecution. The suspect is no longer allowed on the property.
GOOD FENCES, June 22, 1 p.m., Hillcrest, Tahoe City: An incident report was taken for a neighbor dispute. No crime was committed.
ONLINE THEFT, June 22, 1:15 p.m., Minnow Road, Kings Beach: An unknown suspect made $2400 in online purchases on a stolen credit card. The victim is the owner of the online store.
GUILT TRIP, June 22, 4:45 p.m., North Lake Boulevard, Kings Beach: A man stole a cell phone from inside a business. The suspect later returned the phone and admitted to the crime. Charges are pending.
SAME GUY, June 23, 11:15 a.m., North Lake Boulevard, Kings Beach: The same man who stole the cell phone a day before demoed a bike and then did not return it. He used a gift card with no money on it instead of a credit card.
SQUATTER, June 24, 12:30 p.m., Wildwood Road, Tahoe Vista: A victim showed up at there vacation home to find that someone had been squatting for the past five months. A report was taken for burglary.
BUI, June 24, 7:30 p.m., West Lake Boulevard, Homewood: A male was arrested for boating under the influence of alcohol and possession of a controlled substance.
NOT A SAFE PLACE TO LIE DOWN, June 26, 1:45 a.m., Fabian Way, Tahoe City: A female was found lying in the roadway. She was taken into protective custody due to her high level of intoxication.
DRUNK IN PUBLIC, June 28, 3 a.m., West Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City: Female was arrested for public intoxication.
DRUGS IN THE MIX, June 28, 6:20 a.m., North Lake Boulevard, Kings Beach: After a report of a suspicious male exhibiting aggressive behavior with sticks, police arrested suspect for possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia.
DELIBERATE, June 28, 7:40 a.m., North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City: A report was taken for vandalism. The suspect allegedly damaged victim’s vehicle with his vehicle in a deliberate manner, causing minor damage.
REPEAT DRINKER, June 28, 2 p.m., North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City: A suspect stole multiple bottles of alcohol on two separate occasions.
RING, RING, June 30, 1:30 p.m., Nightingale Road, Tahoe City: An unknown suspect opened a cellphone account in victim’s name and the account went into default for $407.
JUMPED, June 20, 11 p.m., West Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City: A possible know suspect jumped a victim and assaulted him. The suspect fled the scene. A citizen’s arrest form was filed with the D.A.

AIN’T NO REST FOR THE WICKED, July 5, Tahoe City, Olympic Valley, Truckee: Today in the area there was one threat report, one burglary report and two public intoxication arrests.
GRAFFITI, July 6, West Lake Boulevard, Homewood: Sometime overnight and unknown suspect spray painted graffiti on the side of a building.
UNDER THE BENCH, July 6, North Lake Boulevard, Kings Beach: A male was found passed out under a park bench. The suspect was taked into protective custody for public intoxication.
SURPRISE ATTACK, July 6, North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe Vista: While she was walking down the roadway a woman was attacked by another female who jumped out of a vehicle. The attacker caused injuries to the victim.
BAD BOYFRIEND, July 6, National Avenue, Tahoe Vista: Using a spray can and a lighter, a victim’s boyfriend burned her face. The boyfriend fled the scene but was arrested two weeks later on felony charges.
BEAR GONE, July 7, Dinah Road, Carnelian Bay: An unknown suspect entered a residence and stole a polar bear fur blanket and other personal items.
DUI ARREST, July 8, 1:30 p.m., Agatam Road, Tahoe Vista: Upon arriving at the scene of a vehicle accident, the male driver involved was turned over to CHP for a suspected DUI.
ESCAPE ARTIST, July 8, 7:45 a.m., Pinedrop Road, Tahoe Vista: A man was reported as being ‘high on drugs’ and out of control. The suspected was later located on the roof of a house and eventually talked into coming down to the balcony by police. The suspect then jumped off the balcony and fled the scene. He was later arrested for escaping from house arrest and vandalism.
DOWNHILL DOWNER, July 8, 10:30 a.m., Lake Forest Drive, Tahoe City: On July 4th an unknown suspect stole a mountain biked from a woman’s porch. Bike was locked.
THREE MEN WALK INTO A BAR, July 9, 12 a.m., North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City: Three men ensued in a drunken bar fight. The victim work up with a possible broken nose and hand but could not recall any of the details from the night before. Victim decided later not to purse charges.
AXES ARE NOT TOYS, July 9, Bear Road, Kings Beach: After man was swinging an axe and yelling at people he was found passed out face down in the woods and taken into protective custody for public intoxication.
BAD BREAK-UP, July 10, 7 p.m., North Lake Boulevard, Carnelian Bay: A report was taken for suspicious circumstances after a female said her ex-boyfriend flew out from the east coast to confront her about their relationship. He followed her in her vehicle and proceeded to block her in a dead end street. The woman felt threatened and called 911.
PUNCHED, July 10, 12:40 a.m., North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City: Someone reported a intoxicated man who walked into the bar and started yelling vulgar remarks to patrons. After hearing the remarks someone punched him in the mouth and he left on foot.
BIKE BANDIT, July 12, 2:30 p.m., Speedboat Beach, Kings Beach: Two Santa Cruz mountain bikes were stolen from a victim’s residence. One bike was later recovered but the other is still missing.
FUZZY DETAILS, July 12, 10 p.m., Squaw Valley Road, Olympic Valley: A man alleged that he was hit in the face and robbed of $300 dollars. He was unable to provide any details and there are no witnesses.
BAD BREAK-UP II, July 14, 2:30 p.m., Donner Road, Tahoe Vista: A male subject followed his ex-girlfriend again to Truckee and then back towards the lake. The victim felt threatened but the suspect did not attempt to contact.
ROAD RAGE, July 14, 2:30 p.m., Fairway Drive, Tahoe City: Report was take from an incident that occurred through a construction zone, the driver involved was cited and released for reckless driving.
DRUNK DISTURBANCE, July 14, 12 a.m., North Lake Boulevard, Kings Beach: A man was arrested for public intoxication after causing a disturbance at two different locations.
SHATTERED, July 14, 12 a.m., North Lake Boulevard, Kings Beach: Sometime overnight an unknown suspect smashed the rear and passenger windows out of a victim’s vehicle.
TRAILER INTRUDER, July 17, 3:20 a.m., Squaw Valley Road, Olympic Valley: A report of a make subject breaking into a trailer resulted in the man being arrested for public drunkenness and possession of a controlled substance.
KEEP YOUR FRIENDS CLOSE, July 17, Rainbow Road, Kings Beach: A man was taken into protective custody for public intoxication after getting into a physical altercation with his friend. The friend does not wish to press charges.
EVADING PEACE, July 18, Tiger Tail Road, Olympic Valley: A man was arrested for DUI and at the same time for trying to evade a peace officer. It was determined that the same man had been involved in a domestic disturbance that occurred earlier in the night. The subject has been charged with five different offences.
CRAIGSLIST SCAM, July 18, 10 a.m., Fabian Way, Tahoe City: Report was taken for a Craigslist vacation rental scam. The loss was $1000.
BACKPACK ROBBERY, July 18, 2 p.m., Squaw Valley Road, Olympic Valley: An unknown suspect stole victim’s backpack out of her friend’s unlocked vehicle. $1100 worth of personal items were stolen.
DOPE ARREST, July 18, 3:30 p.m., Lake Forest Boulevard, Tahoe City: During probation search a female suspect was arrested for possession of tar heroin.
IN PLAIN SIGHT, July 18, Canterbury Drive, Kings Beach: A man was driving in downtown Kings Beach when he saw two guys riding the bicycles that had been stolen from his house the day prior. The man called 911 and one of the suspects was apprehended immediately. The suspect was also charged for possession of methamphetamine. The other suspect was eventually caught and arrested on several charges.
BONNIE AND CLYDE, July 19, North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City: A man walked into a convenience store and pointed a handgun at the clerk while demanding money. The suspect and his girlfriend were identified within hours and arrested by nightfall.
BAD CHECK, July 29, 3:30 p.m., North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City: A female suspect attempted to pass a forged check at the local bank. The bank denied the suspect request to cash the check. The woman then attempted to cash the same check again in Incline Village and was apprehended by Washoe County Deputies.
IN A DITCH, July 20, 11:15 p.m., North Lake Boulevard, Carnelian Bay: A man was turned over to CHP for a suspected DUI after crashing his car into a ditch.
FORE!, July 21, 9:30 a.m., Ward Creek Boulevard, Tahoe City: An unknown suspect stole golf clubs from an unlocked vehicle.

next to his bicycle and covered in urine, a man was detained for public intoxication.
WATER SPORTS STOLEN, July 25, 3 p.m., Brockway Springs Road, Kings Beach: A kayak and paddleboard were stolen sometime in the past week. The loss total is $2000 and there are no known suspects.
DOPE ARREST II, July 26, 8:30 a.m., Bristlecone Beach, Tahoe City: A male subject was arrested after a probation search that yielded possession of tar heroin.
LOADED CAR, July 27, 1:30 p.m., Rocky Ridge Road, Tahoe City: Pursuant to a traffic stop for reckless driving, and 83 year-old man was cited and released for possession of two loaded firearms in his vehicle.
COLDCOCKED, July 28, 3 a.m., Trout Road, Kings Beach: A man arrived home after a night of drinking a significant amount of alcohol. He then woke up in a pool of his own blood with signs of being coldcocked on the die of his face with an unknown weapon but an unknown person. He had to undergo surgery for his broken eye socket.
MEDICAL SUPPLIES STOLEN, July 28, 11:30 a.m., Squaw Valley Road, Olympic Village: An unknown suspect stole a trauma backpack and AED from a temporary medical tent.
SKINNY DIP, July 29, 5 p.m., North Lake Boulevard, Carnelian Bay: Deputies responded to a report of a nude female dancing on the beach. The woman was swimming away from the shore when they arrived. The coast guard attempted to rescue the highly intoxicated woman from the water for two hours before she finally relinquished and was arrested for public drunkenness.
SHOPPING, July 29, 9 a.m., Rawhide Drive, Tahoe City: A unknown suspect opened a Nordstrom account in victim’s name. No charges were made to the account.
TRACTOR VANDAL, July 29, 4 p.m., Chamonix Road, Tahoe City: Suspects vandalized a road grader tractor causing approximately $15,000 in damages.
JUST LIKE KIM K, July 29, 4:30 p.m., West Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City: A unknown suspect stole a $5000 gold necklace from a woman’s home.
CITIZEN’S SCUFFLE, July 30, 2:30 p.m., North Lake Boulevard, Carnelian Bay: A man took an alcoholic drink from a restaurant out to the pier. A female employee of the restaurant chased after him because alcohol is not allowed to leave the restaurant premises. The man claimed she scratched him and knocked the drink out of his hand. The female claims the male pushed her off the pier into the lake. Both parties signed citizen arrest forms for battery but the DA declined to file the charges.
SHOTS FIRED, July 30, 9 p.m., North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe Vista: Someone fired a BB gun into the window of a business.
