BURGLAR, Nov. 10, 1:32 p.m., Pine Forest Rd.: An unknown person broke into a house and stole multiple items; there is no suspect at this time.

SOMEONE TO BLAME, Nov. 10, 3 p.m., Truckee: A car was hit and the suspect fled, but then he was located.

DUI COUNTRY, Nov. 11, Truckee: A vehicle was stopped for code violations and the driver was arrested for a suspected DUI and a suspended license.


DRUGS AND ROBBERIES, Nov. 12, 2:03 a.m., Donner Pass Rd.: An officer found a person walking around a closed business. The officer searched the subject’s vehicle, with consent, and found bulk marijuana and burglary tools. The vehicle was also found to be stolen. The suspect was arrested.

SCAMMED!, Nov. 12, 3:03 p.m., Moon Shadow Ct.: A telephone scam where approximately $1,375 was stolen was reported to police.

TIS’ THE SEASON, Nov. 13, 5:05 p.m., Deerfield Dr.: A caller reported someone shoplifting from a business; the officers found the suspect and cited him for misdemeanor shoplifting.

A FEW TOO MANY, Nov. 14, 2:07 a.m., Truckee: An intoxicated person was found staggering near the alley behind downtown Truckee and was arrested for public intoxication.

TRAFFIC STOP, Nov. 17, 10 p.m., Truckee: A driver was stopped for a vehicle code violation and cited for possession of marijuana in a vehicle.

DUI COUNTRY, Nov. 17, 4:53 p.m., Truckee: A traffic collision between two vehicles led to the arrest of one of the drivers for a DUI. The driver had an extensive DUI history and was arrested for a felony.

BEG, BORROW, OR STEAL, Nov. 17, 9:46 p.m., Alder Dr.: A phone was reported to be stolen, but the victim called in later to report the phone had been found and it was just a mix-up between friends.

TAXI CAB, Nov. 19, 2:58 a.m., Northwoods Blvd.: A person was kicked out of a cab for being too intoxicated and aggressive. After a brief scuffle with the cab driver, the person left and was located by police and arrested for public intoxication.

SORRY, BOSS, Nov. 20, 2:30 p.m., Donner Pass Rd.: A local business reported an employee had embezzled approximately $2,400 worth of merchandise and currency. One of the female employees was arrested.

WHOLE LOTTA BIKES, Nov. 21, 9 p.m., Snow Shoe Circle: An enclosed trailer containing 17 bicycles was reported stolen and then located. The suspect of the robbery was also located and arrested.

NARCOS, Nov. 22, 8:46 p.m., Donner Pass Rd.: Someone found narcotics paraphernalia inside a business. The drugs were turned over to law enforcement “to be destructed.”

DUI COUNTRY, Nov. 22, 11: 34 p.m., Truckee: Officers stopped a vehicle for driving without headlights and weaving into the oncoming lane. The driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol and arrested for a DUI.
