DOWNED POWER LINE, July 24, 3:05 p.m., Willow Street: A delivery truck ran into a power line, causing the wire to pull away from a house.
WALK THIS WAY, July 25, 11:07 a.m., Truckee: A subject was contacted for crossing an intersection while the “don’t walk” signal was displayed. Subject had a felon warrant and was arrested.
DUDE, WHERE’S MY CAR?, July 27, 2:14 a.m., Truckee: Driver pulled beside officers on highway already engaged in a traffic stop. Driver asked for directions and was subsequently arrested for narcotics violations.
DUI AFTER REFUSAL TO LEAVE, July 27, 11:13 p.m., Northwoods Boulevard: Officers responded to a report of a female refusing to leave a residence. Female was later arrested for driving under the influence.
FIGHT, July 28, 2:13 a.m., Rue Ivy: Officers responded to a fight involving numerous people. Upon arrival a male was found with serious head injuries and was Care Flighted to a local hospital.
CHURCH THEFT, July 28, 12 p.m., Brockway Road: An unknown suspect entered a church during Sunday service and stole personal items from parishioners.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT, August 1, 11:30 p.m., Donner Pass Road: Subject caused several disturbances in a bar, including two fights. He was removed by the bouncer five times before he was detained and arrested for being intoxicated in public.
ROTTEN EGGS, August 2, 11:08 a.m., Pioneer Trail: Unknown persons threw eggs on a new trailer in a mobile home park.
HORSE CARRIAGE ACCIDENT, August 3, 6:12 p.m., Alder Creek Road: A horse-drawn carriage collided with a tree after horses were spooked. Accident resulted in one serious injury.

HOTEL KLEPTO, June 23, 10:45 a.m., North Lake Boulevard, Kings Beach: Male suspect rented a room for the night and stole items from the hotel.
STOLEN SIGN, June 23, overnight, Highway 89, Homewood: Unknown suspect stole the Homewood Homeowners sign, a $2,500 loss for the association.
IDENTITY FRAUD, June 25, 1 p.m., Salisbury, Kings Beach: Unknown suspect gained access to victim’s social security number and bank account number and tried to wire $37,000 using the info. The wire was canceled prior to the loss.
WHERE AM I?, June 28, 12:30 a.m., North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City: Subject was found passed out on sidewalk. When he came to he thought he was in San Francisco. Subject was arrested for public intoxication for his own safety.
ROAD RAGE, June 28, 8:30 p.m., Ritz Carlton, Truckee: Road rage incident occurred when male subject confronted a female driver about her alleged poor driving skills.
NO CHECK PLEASE, June 30, 8:30 p.m., North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City: Male subject patronized two different restaurants, ordered food, then proceeded to leave without paying.
ROBBERY, ongoing since November, Forest Glen, Olympic Valley: Unknown suspect broke into vacation home and stole $13,000 in appliances and household items.
I DREW YOU A PICTURE, July 2, 7 p.m., Chipmunk Street, Kings Beach: Unknown suspect entered a residence and stole two lawn chairs, then drew a picture of male genitalia and hung it up on the homeowner’s fridge while the victim was on vacation.
BATTERY, July 3, 10:30 p.m., Deer Street, Kings Beach: Intoxicated subject punched a CHP officer in the face. He is facing charges of being drunk in public and of battery to a peace officer.
CAPTAIN UNDERPANTS, July 5, 1 a.m., North Lake Boulevard, Carnelian Bay: Homeowner called to report an unknown male was on her porch in only his underwear. The male was too intoxicated to articulate where he lived and was taken into protective custody.
CAR PARTS ROBBERY, July 6, 3:30 p.m., West Lake Boulevard, Homewood: Unknown suspect stole victim’s catalytic converter worth $5,000 from his truck parked on the side of the road.
SEARCH WARRANT, July 9, 9 a.m., Lakeforest, Tahoe City: A search warrant yielded packaged bundles of a controlled substance and two loaded firearms; suspect arrested.
