STOLEN KAYAK, June 17, 10:45 a.m., North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe Vista: An unknown suspect stole victim’s unsecured kayak from the property.
BOTCH JOB, June 19, 9:30 a.m., Brockway Vista, Kings Beach: An unknown suspect attempted to remove the starter from the victim’s car, causing major damage.
LOST HIKER, June 19, 4:45 p.m., Five Lakes, Alpine Meadows: A report was taken for a lost hiker who eventually found her way back to the trailhead on her own.
PARAPHERNELIA, June 22, 9:30 a.m., Beaver Street, Kings Beach: During a probation search, drug paraphernalia was located and the male subject was arrested for violation of his probation.
DUI, June 23, 1:30 a.m., Route 28/Burton Creek, Tahoe City: A woman was arrested for a suspected DUI.
PUNK, June 23, 8:15 a.m., SR 89/Squaw Valley, Olympic Valley: A skateboarder threw a boot at a bus and broke the window.
SMASH, June 23, 4:30 p.m., Golden Avenue, Kings Beach: A woman reported that a potentially-known suspect threw a rock and broke her window.
BLOW TO THE HEAD, June 24, 11:30 a.m., Bear Street, Kings Beach: A woman allegedly hit a man in the head with an unknown object, causing severe bleeding. The man was life-flighted to Reno as a result of his injuries. Charges were dropped due to insufficient evidence.
BLOCKHEAD, June 24, 6:30 p.m., North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe Vista: A man was seen dragging a concrete block up and down a pier, causing an unknown amount of damage. The suspect was asked to the leave the property, but no identification was given.
BROKEN WINDOW, June 26, 10 a.m., Golden Avenue, Kings Beach: An unknown suspect broke the front window of a vacation home.
MAKING “HONEY”, June 26, 10 a.m., Bear Street, Kings Beach: After entering a home with a search warrant, a honey oil lab was located in the suspect’s apartment.
DUI, June 26, 10 p.m., North Lake Boulevard, Carnelian Bay: A man was turned over to CHP for a suspected DUI.
SCAM, June 26, 11:30 p.m., Kings Way, Tahoe Vista: A victim wired $1,100 to a suspect for a vacation rental for the weekend. When the victim showed up, the property was already rented and occupied by someone else.
SNOOZE, YOU LOSE, June 27, 2:30 a.m., Squaw Valley Road, Olympic Valley: A woman was found sleeping on a bench and was determined to have two active warrants out of Sacramento County and was subsequently arrested.
BUI, June 27, 2:30 p.m., Hurricane Bay, Tahoe City: A man was arrested for suspicion of boating under the influence of alcohol.
BAR BRAWLING BROAD, June 29, 12 a.m. North Lake Boulevard, Kings Beach: An aggressive woman fighting several people at a bar was arrested for public intoxication and assault on a peace officer.
SIDEWALK SIESTA, June 29, 1:45 a.m., North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City: A man was contacted as he was sleeping on the sidewalk. It was determined that he had an outstanding warrant out of San Mateo and was placed under arrest.
BALL BUSTER, June 29, 5:45 a.m., Brockway Vista, Kings Beach: Deputies responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon. Three intoxicated young men were woken up on a private pier and were asked to leave by a male subject. The male subject allegedly grabbed one of the three men by the testicles and refused to let go. Another of the three males allegedly hit the man that was holding his buddy’s private parts hostage with his skateboard. All parties declined any medical assistance. Both parties signed citizen arrest forms against one other.
STOLEN CLUBS, June 29, 9:30 a.m., North Lake Boulevard, Carnelian Bay: An unknown suspect removed golf clubs from an unlocked vehicle.
RUNNING FROM THE LAW, June 29, 11:15 a.m., North Lake Boulevard, Kings Beach: Knowing he had warrants for his arrest, a male suspect fled on foot when he saw approaching deputies. He was eventually located with a sprained arm, which occurred earlier in the day. The suspect was medically cleared from the hospital, cited, and released on the warrants. A fresh charge of resisting arrest was added.
PUBLIC INTOXICATION, June 30, 11 p.m., Toyon Avenue, Tahoe Vista: A man was taken into protective custody for public intoxication after a report of a disturbance.
