BAD BUSINESS, Aug. 19, 10:08 a.m., Industrial Way: A local business owner claimed he had been threatened by a former client. The suspect, when asked, admitted to having a threatening conversation with the business owner.
BREAKING THE SEAL, Aug. 20, 11 p.m., Donner Pass Rd.: An individual caught urinating in an alley behind a local bar was found to be heavily intoxicated and subsequently arrested for drunkenness in public.
PAY-AS-YOU-GO, Aug. 21, 11:30 a.m., Truckee Airport Rd.: A local reported that suspect(s) in Florida obtained their identity information and used it to open a cell phone account in their name.
GOOD KARMA, Aug. 23, 9:38 p.m., Estates Dr.: A citizen found a wallet and turned it into police. Police were unable to contact the owner, so the wallet and contents have been booked for safekeeping.
MOTHER, MOTHER, Aug. 24, 9:15 a.m., Donner Pass Rd.: A biological, estranged mother followed her daughters from Rocklin to Truckee and accosted them. No crime was determined but a report was taken to document the incident in the event of future stalking violation.
WE DIDN’T START THE FIRE, Aug. 24, 6:20 p.m.: Three juveniles set a pile of pine needles on fire. All were cited due to a statewide “no burn” ban, and released to their parents.

THIRD TIME IS A CHARM, July 16, 11:15 a.m., North Lake Blvd., Kings Beach: Suspect robbed a pharmacy for the second time in two months. He was caught after the third robbery in August.
IN THE NAME OF RESEARCH, July 16, 11:30 a.m., Lake Forest Road, Tahoe City: Suspect stole eight small animal traps to be used for scientific research.
LOCK IT UP, July 17, 1:45 p.m., Fountain Ave., Tahoe City: A suspect stole an unlocked mountain bike off an individual’s porch.
FLEET FEET, July 23, 1:45 a.m., Brook Ave., Kings Beach: In an attempt to pull over the driver for speeding, the suspect refused to stop and a vehicle pursuit commenced, during which the suspect crashed into the back of an unsuspecting occupied vehicle. The suspect fled on foot and was located hours later. The suspect now faces a misdemeanor hit and run and a felony evading charge.
WHO SHOULD WE BLAME?, July 28, 4 a.m., West Lake Blvd., Tahoe City: A female victim reported that her vehicle was stolen. The vehicle was located four days later in a parking lot a few blocks away from the party she was attending the night of said crime.
GETTING HEATED, July 30, 2 p.m., Cathedral Dr., Tahoe City: A report was taken for assault with a deadly weapon. Two subjects engaged in a verbal argument over traffic related issues. Victim reported that an elderly male deliberately backed his vehicle into victim’s hand bike (a bike used for the disabled) and another argument ensued. The victim later decided he did not wish to prosecute.
WHO’S GOING TO CLEAN THAT UP?, July 31, 2 p.m., Polaris Road, Tahoe City: An unknown subject entered an outbuilding and sprayed the fire extinguisher contents all over the floor.
