THREATS ON PIERS, July 23, 2:32 p.m., Donner Lake Pier: Officers responded to a male subject threatening to harm others on pier. Suspect was booked for being uncooperative with officers.
FIRE, July 24, 5:37 p.m., Bennett Flat Road: A structure fire was started by a juvenile with special needs while he was home.
BEAR CALL, July 24, 9:02 p.m., Royal Way: Report of a bear entering a residence.
ASSAULT, July 25, 12:16 a.m., West River Street: Husband and wife were engaged in a physical altercation resulting in both parties being arrested.
IMAGINARY GUNS, July 25, 9:22 p.m., Donner Pass Road: A caller reported a man entered a convenience store and demanded the clerk call 911 because people were coming after him with guns. Officers took the man to the hospital to be evaluated for mental illness.
HARSH WORDS, July 26, 6:25 a.m., Martis Drive: Husband and wife got into a verbal argument. No crime committed.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT, July 26, 9:36 a.m., Falcon Point Place: Two domestic partners got into a verbal argument over child custody issues.
AGAINST PAID PARKING, July 26, 8:49 a.m., West River Street: Graffiti was seen on a parking meter; information report only.
SLOW DOWN, July 30, 12:01 p.m., Wolfgang Road: Traffic complaint of speeding in front of reporting party’s house.
CUSTODY EXCHANGE, July 30, 6 a.m., Donner Trail: Report of a violation of court child custody order. Officers performed a civil standby during custody exchange.
HUSBAND ABUSE, July 30, 4:29 p.m., Sierra Drive: Husband and wife got into a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation. Wife arrested for spousal abuse.
UH-OH, July 30, 7:20 p.m., Cinnabar Way: Neighbors witnessed a female driver run into two trees and a bear box in a driveway. Officers arrived on scene and driver was arrested for being under the influence of alcohol and prescription pills.
KICKING CARS, July 31, 9:59 p.m., Bridge Street: Subjects got into a physical altercation and one subject kicked the other’s car. Neither party wanted to press charges. One subject was arrested for being drunk in public.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT, Aug. 4, 11:02 p.m., Saint Albans Place: Report of domestic violence at a residence. Investigation identified a dominant aggressor who was booked for misdemeanor domestic battery.
BRANCH ASSAULT, Aug. 6, 7:30 a.m., Truckee: Subject threatened victim, then used a branch to break a street sign and threw branch at the victim.
CLIENT BEEF, Aug. 6, 8:46 a.m., Donner Pass Road: Former customer became upset and was calling the business and leaving notes all around the building and parking lot.
THREATENING STAFF, Aug. 6, 2:17 p.m., Pine Avenue: A male entered a business and was upset with the staff. He was asked to leave twice and eventually led out by staff.
ROAD TRIP GONE BAD, Aug. 6, 11:02 p.m., Deerfield Drive: A boyfriend and girlfriend got into an argument while driving through Truckee. Female pulled into gas station where boyfriend fled into the woods.
BEAR BREAK-IN, Aug. 9, 10:44 p.m., Wellington Way: Bear broke into a residence. After eating several items in the kitchen, he was scared off by arriving officers.
THROWING QUARTERS, Aug. 11, 9:50 a.m., Estates Drive: Aide worker assaulted a senior center employee by throwing quarters at him. Aide worker escorted off premises and issued a “Stay Away” letter from management.

NO FOUL PLAY, July 10, 6 p.m., McKinney Rubicon Trail, Tahoma: Male subject accidently ran over his wife’s leg while four-wheeling. No foul play determined.
CONSTRUCTION STRESS, July 11, 6:45 12:15 p.m., Fox Street and Salmon Street, Kings Beach: An intoxicated male got into a verbal argument with a construction worker and then fled in a vehicle. He later returned and then fled a second time. After a short foot pursuit, he was arrested for a DUI and resisting arrest.
