TRAFFIC VIOLATION, Jan. 23, Truckee: Vehicle stopped for traffic violations and suspect found to be in possession of an illegal assault weapon.
SPOUSAL FIGHT, Jan. 26, 4:58 p.m., Waters Way: Married couple involved in a physical altercation.
SURPRISE, Jan. 30, 8:22 a.m., Truckee Airport Road: 9mm Glock with 10 rounds found in the trunk of a rental car.
PROWLER, Feb. 3, 9:45 a.m., Overland Trail: Evidence revealed a possible prowler was on the loose overnight. Very little evidence was found.
NYQUIL THEFT, Feb. 4, 3 p.m., Donner Pass Road: Loss prevention officer witnessed suspect stealing Nyquil.
DOG ABUSE, Feb. 4, 3:25 p.m., Martis Valley Road: A concerned citizen reported seeing a man beating his dog in the Sierra Village Apartments parking lot. Abuse was confirmed on video, and the dog was relocated to the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe.
VEHICLE DOOR THEFT, Feb. 5, 3:01 p.m., West River Street: Unknown persons took two doors off the victim’s vehicle without owner’s consent.
SELF-CHECKOUT FRUSTRATION, Feb. 8, 4:59 p.m., Donner Pass Road: Suspect punched the self-checkout screen at Safeway.
UNLOCKED CAR, Feb. 11, 11:47 a.m., Torrey Pine Road: Suspect entered an unlocked car and stole items.
HOTEL ROOM BREAK-IN, Feb. 11, 3:32 p.m., Cold Stream Road: Hotel room was broken into and items were stolen.
HOME BURGLARY, Feb. 13, 11:57 a.m., Pine Court: Unknown suspect broke into a residence and took items.
TRAINSPOTTING, Feb. 13, 2:02 p.m., Truckee: Union Pacific authorities called Truckee Police to assist with two subjects trespassing on an active train.
LOCKED OUT, Feb. 15, 7:12 p.m., Salmon Street: A landlord moved tenant’s personal items out and locked tenant out of residence. Report taken for illegal tenant lockout.
HOME BURGLARY, Feb. 17, 11:04 a.m., Wolfe Drive: Reported residential burglary.
HOME BURGLARY 2, Feb. 17, 1:37 p.m., Willow Street: Unknown suspect entered victim’s locked home and took items.

TRESSPASSING, Jan. 1, 12:20 a.m., Squaw Valley Road, Olympic Valley: Male subject was arrested for trespassing after signing a document stating he was not allowed on the property.
CONFUSED DRUNK, Jan. 1, 4 a.m., North Lake Boulevard, Carnelian Bay: A barefoot male subject was taken into custody when he was found so intoxicated he could barely walk, and tried to enter a residence that wasn’t his.
FORKLIFT JOYRIDE, Jan. 1, 9:30 a.m., North Lake Boulevard, Carnelian Bay: Suspect stole a forklift from a business and took it for a ride, leaving it at a residence.
GOVERNMENT VEHICLE ROADTRIP, Jan. 2, 4:45 a.m., Squaw Valley Road, Olympic Valley: Male arrested for stealing a government vehicle in the Bay Area. Subject was located sleeping illegally in a lodging facility.
HIT AND RUN, Jan. 3, 5:30 p.m., North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe Vista: An 84-year-old man was arrested for resisting arrest after it was reported that he might have hit a pedestrian with his vehicle.
SEX BEATING, Jan. 3, 10 p.m., Christy Lane, Olympic Valley: Female suspect arrested for domestic battery. Female became upset during an intimate encounter with her husband and started to punch and choke him.
BONFIRE FOR AN EX, Jan. 6, 3 p.m., Granite Chief, Olympic Valley: Female burned boyfriend’s CDs during a breakup. She was placed under citizen’s arrest and booked.
SERIAL BURGLAR, Jan. 8, 3:30 p.m., Rainbow Avenue, Kings Beach: Suspect found in the attic of a business, fled, and was later found and arrested. Suspect admitted to committing eight other burglaries.
CARJACKING, Jan.10, 2:30 a.m., Lily Lane/Muletail Drive, Tahoe City: Three male suspects arrested for carjacking. They took a cab ride from Truckee, refused to pay, and then kicked the driver out and left him alone on side of the road.
UNDERCOVER, Jan. 24, 1:30 p.m., Northstar Drive, Truckee: Male subject arrested for stealing a ski resort uniform to gain access to ski lifts.
RAILROAD THEFT, Jan. 28, 11:30 p.m., Emigrant Gap: Male subject arrested for grand theft, vandalism, and possession of methamphetamine. He was caught stealing over $2,000 in copper wire from the railroad.
