UNLOCKED CAR, Dec. 30, 6 p.m., Forest Lane: A purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
DOUGHNUTS, Jan. 1, 1:18 a.m., Truckee: A vehicle was stopped for doing doughnuts in the middle of the street.
MANSLAUGHTER PASSING THROUGH, Jan. 1, 5:07 p.m., Truckee: A homicide suspect from Idaho was seen driving through Glenshire. The vehicle was stopped and the suspect was arrested.
POLICE STATION DRUNK, Jan. 3, 1:10 p.m., Truckee Airport Road: Subject was found passed out on sidewalk in front of the police department. Subject was arrested for drunk in public.
DOG KICKED FOR A BARK, Jan. 4, 2:51 a.m., Bridge Street: A late report of a male that kicked a dog after it barked at him. Dog’s owner confronted the kicker and the kicker then pushed the victim to the ground and fled.
LOBBY DRUNK, Jan. 5, 3:54 a.m., Pine Avenue: Officers responded to a call for an intoxicated subject. Officers found the man in the lobby and arrested him for being drunk in public.
UTILITY POLE, Jan. 5, 2 p.m., Truckee: A vehicle struck a utility pole, causing damage. The driver, who had the car towed privately, failed to notify police. The power company discovered damage days later and reported it. The vehicle was located by evidence located on the scene.
DOG ATTACKS HORSE, Jan. 5, 2:07 p.m., Truckee: A dog attacked a horse.
DRUNK AGAIN, ARRESTED AGAIN, Jan. 5, 3:46 p.m., Truckee Airport Road: A man who was recently arrested for being drunk in public arrived at the police department intoxicated to pick up his personal property. The man was arrested again for being dunk in public.
MISSING PERSON, Jan. 5, 11:26 p.m., Springbrook Place: An 18 year old left his family’s vacation home in Tahoe Donner. An extensive search of the area was conducted with no signs of missing person. Victim does not know anyone in the area.
THE LONE SKI BOOT, Jan. 6, 10 a.m., West River Street: Report taken for a boot that was located on the side of the street. Ski boot booked for safekeeping.
BAR ESCORT, Jan. 6, 4:34 p.m., Donner Pass Road: A drunk man was escorted out of a bar by employees. It was determined he was unable to care for himself and he was arrested for being drunk in public.
DUI, Jan. 7, 2:50 a.m., Truckee: Car pulled over for a violation and driver was arrested for a DUI.
GAS STATION DRUNK, Jan. 8, 1:49 a.m., Deerfield Drive: Suspect was drunk and had entered a gas station and appeared confused and couldn’t answer simple questions. The suspect was arrested for being drunk in public.
BROTHERLY HOTEL LOVE, Jan. 7, 6:26 a.m., Deerfield Drive: Two brothers were involved in a physical altercation in front of a hotel. As a result of the fight, the glass on the hotel doors were shattered. Originally, the suspect was cooperating with the hotel owner for payment but now the hotel owner has lost contact. The report is being forwarded to the district attorney for review.
BEATEN AND PREGNANT, Jan. 7, 3:50 p.m., Ramshorn Street: An uncooperative victim said she was assaulted by individuals who had hit her in the head. She was found in her residence with bruises to her eyes, face, and arms. The victim refused to tell law enforcement whom was responsible. She was five months pregnant and under the influence of alcohol. She declined medical care.
STOLEN HANDGUN, Jan. 9, 11:09 p.m., Church Street: A vehicle was stopped for code violations and a search of the vehicle located marijuana, a controlled substance, and a loaded handgun.
