‘TIS THE SEASON, Dec. 5, 4:32 p.m., Donner Pass Road: Officers responded to a verbal argument. While carrying a Christmas tree to his car, the tree scratched a parked vehicle.
DUI, Dec. 7, 2:02 a.m., Truckee: Vehicle stopped for a violation and driver was arrested for a DUI.
MISSING WOMAN, Dec. 7, 12:00 p.m., Palisades Drive: A mother reported her adult daughter missing.
SEX OFFENDER FOUND WITH NARCOTICS, Dec. 9, 1:17 p.m., Pioneer Trail Road: A compliance check was conducted on a registered sex offender. He was discovered to be in possession of narcotics paraphernalia.
DUI ROLL-OVER, Dec. 9, 10:10 p.m., Truckee: Officers responded to a report of a single vehicle roll-over in the downtown area. Driver was arrested for a DUI.
DUI COLLISION, Dec. 10, 12:57 a.m., West River Street: A citizen called in a vehicle collision. When the driver was located he was arrested for a DUI.
MARIJUANA GROW, Dec. 9, Noon, Northwoods Boulevard: Officers investigated a report of a marijuana grow. It was found that the homeowners were in compliance with California Prop 215.
NO HEADLIGHTS, Dec. 11, 12:31 a.m., Truckee: A vehicle was stopped for driving without headlights and the driver was found to be under the influence.
BITTER EX-EMPLOYEE, Dec. 11, 10:53 a.m., Donner Pass Road: Officers contacted a recently fired employee in front of a business. The subject was arrested for being under the influence and possession of drug paraphernalia.
LANDLORD DISPUTE, Dec. 11, 8:23 p.m., Royal Way: A woman called to report a possible assault that had occurred one month ago with her landlord. Officers determined the allegations were unfounded.
DUI CRASH, Dec. 11, 11:10 p.m., Northwoods Boulevard: Officers contacted a driver that crashed off the roadway onto the shoulder. The driver was arrested for a DUI.
DUI, Dec. 12, 1:37 a.m., Truckee: Driver was stopped for code violations and was found to be under the influence.
GARAGE DISPUTE, Dec. 12, 3:33 p.m., Smith Street: A neighbor dispute over a garage. Report was taken.
FACE PUNCH, Dec. 13, 12:37 a.m., Waters Way: Suspect punched victim in the face because he was upset with his son. Victim desired prosecution.
POTENTIAL DOMESTIC DISPUTE, Dec. 13, 3:08 p.m., Deerfield Drive: Officers responded to a report of a possible domestic dispute at a shopping center. The involved suspects left before officers arrived. The potential victim was later located in Washoe County and denied that any crimes occurred.
VERBAL ASSAULT, Dec. 14, 9:37 p.m., West River Street: Officers responded to a call of a domestic dispute in progress. A male and female were located and were in a verbal dispute.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT, Dec. 14, 10:16 p.m., Copenhagen Drive: Minor physical altercation between husband and wife. The female was determined to the dominant aggressor.
SNOWPLOW, Dec. 15, 12:54 p.m., Davos Drive: A private snowplow was conducting snow removal operations when it was struck by a vehicle in the road.
JUVENILE WITH GUN, Dec. 16, Truckee: It was reported that a 14-year-old male was en route to Alder Creek Middle School with a gun. The student did not have the gun with him that day but did have it the day before. The gun was located at his residence. The student was arrested and released to his mother.
MED DUI, Dec. 16, 5:05 p.m., Torrey Pine Road: Suspect was arrested for driving under the influence of prescription medication.
EX DISPUTE, Dec. 16, 5:51 p.m., Canterbury Lane: Report taken for a verbal dispute between ex-spouses.
BACK FOR MORE, Dec. 16, 7:05 p.m., Waters Way: A subject that punched the reporting party in the face a few days back was back at the victim’s residence pounding on the door.
SHOVELING ACCIDENT, Dec. 17, 8:37 p.m., Snowpeak Way: Subject fell and hit his head while removing snow from his driveway. Subject then became physically combative with medics.
DUI, Dec. 18, 10:42 p.m., Truckee: Vehicle stopped for code violations. Driver was arrested for a DUI.
KNIFE AT SCHOOL, Dec. 20, 10:40 a.m., Glenshire Drive: Information report regarding a late report of a juvenile who brought a knife to school approximately a month ago.
NAUGHTY STEPDAD, Dec. 20, 10:40 a.m., Alder Creek Road: Stepson and stepdad got into a verbal argument. Stepdad retrieved a gun and threatened to kill ex-wife and stepson. The stepson managed to wrestle the gun out of his stepdad’s hands. The stepdad attempted to grab another gun. Ex-wife tried to stop him during the struggle but the stepdad grabbed her hair and threw her to the ground. Stepdad was arrested.
DUI REPORTED, Dec. 20, 6:57 p.m., Donner Pass Road: A caller reported a possible DUI driver. Vehicle was located and the driver was arrested for a DUI.
DUI, Dec. 20, 10:45 p.m., Truckee: A vehicle was stopped for veering over double yellow lines into oncoming traffic. The driver was arrested for a DUI.
ARGUMENT, Dec. 22, 8:18 a.m., Meadow Way: A verbal argument with minor pushing occurred between a boyfriend and girlfriend.
DOMESTIC ARGUMENT, Dec. 23, 2:34 p.m., Davos Drive: A husband and wife were involved in a domestic argument. The husband was arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence.
DRIVING SNOOZE, Dec. 25, 9:50 a.m., Truckee: Driver stopped car in traffic lane and fell asleep.
FIGHT, Dec. 28, 2:43 a.m., Estates Drive: Caller witnesses a physical fight between three individuals outside of an apartment. One subject fled with another appearing to chase him. The last suspect was contacted by police but refused to give any information about the incident.

HOUSE PARTY, Dec. 4, 11:30 a.m., Christy Hill Road, Tahoe City: Unknown suspect stole victim’s house key and threw a party at victim’s house.
STICKERS & FIRE, Dec. 4, 2 p.m., North Lake Boulevard, Carnelian Bay: Two males arrested for shoplifting a case of Bic lighters and Lake Tahoe stickers.
KNOCK-OUT, Dec. 5, 11 p.m., Dodowah Road, Carnelian Bay: Female arrested for punching her boyfriend in the face.
DRUNK BEACH GOER, Dec. 8, 11:45 a.m., Secline Beach, Kings Beach: Male subject taken into protective custody for public intoxication.
DRUG CHARGES, Dec. 9, 2:30 a.m., North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City: Male pulled over for a vehicle code violation and was found with a controlled substance for sale.
ERRATIC DRIVING, Dec. 10, 8 p.m., Bristlecone/Hillcrest, Tahoe City: Female was pulled over for erratic driving and was arrested for DUI.
PUNCH YOU, Dec. 10, 11:30 p.m., North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City: Male subject walked into victim’s house and punched him in the face, then caused damage on his way out of house. Victim signed a citizen’s arrest; suspect was arrested later that day for battery.
SCAM, Dec. 11, 2 p.m., North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City: Victim was defrauded by a client who paid for catering services via Western Union. The account was later flagged as fraudulent by Western Union. Loss of $2,000.
CAN’T PARK THERE, Dec. 11, 2:20 p.m., Steelhead Avenue, Kings Beach: Male subject talked to suspect about parking in a handicapped spot and an argument ensued. Male suspect pulled a knife then fled.
CAN’T STAY HERE, Dec. 12, 1:30 a.m., Squaw Valley Road, Olympic Valley: Male entered a bar after it was closed. The chef asked him to leave after he spit on the floor. The subject took a ladle and smashed the glass door on his way out. He was later arrested or public intoxication.
MARKET CRASH, Dec. 12, 6:30 p.m., West Lake Boulevard, Tahoma: Female crashed her vehicle into the PDQ market and was turned over to CHP for a DUI.
DUI, Dec. 14, 12 a.m., North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City: Male subject arrested for driving under the influence.
STUMBLING, Dec. 16, 3 a.m., Deer/Loch Levon, Kings Beach: Male subject found stumbling down the streets of Kings Beach and was arrested for public intoxication.
SHOPLIFT, Dec. 16, 5 p.m., North Lake Boulevard, Kings Beach: Two unknown suspects shoplifted a basket full of merchandise and fled the scene.
GO AWAY, Dec. 18, 1 a.m., North Lake Boulevard, Kings Beach: An intoxicated male subject refused to leave a bar and was arrested after bar staff signed a citizen’s arrest.
PREGNANT WOMAN INJURED, Dec. 16, 8:15 p.m., Salmon Avenue, Kings Beach: Report was taken for battery between two males. A pregnant woman was injured while trying to stop the fight.
MISSING SNOWMOBILERS, Dec. 19, 3:15 p.m., Tinker’s Knob, Olympic Valley: Two snowmobilers were reported missing and later located by Tahoe Nordic Search and Rescue.
CHRONIC CALLER, Dec. 19, 10:30 p.m., Cove Avenue, Kings Beach: Report taken for a violation of a restraining order. Victim’s ex-boyfriend called her 30 times in a 30-minute time span.
CHOKE, Dec. 22, 1:30 p.m., Forest Glen, Tahoe Vista: Male subject chocked his girlfriend, causing pain.
WANTED IN TENNESSEE, Dec. 23, 9:30 p.m., Pine Avenue, Tahoe City: A report of a domestic disturbance was called in. The male was arrested for a warrant out of Tennessee, as well as for the disturbance.
ILLEGAL TREE CUTTING, Dec. 24, 10 a.m., Hidden Lake, Olympic Valley: Unknown suspects cut down several trees on the homeowner’s association property.
NOT-SO-MERRY CHRISTMAS, Dec. 25, 7 p.m., Coon Street, Kings Beach: Male grabbed victim’s hair and face, then threw Christmas tree to the ground. Charges pending.
STOLEN PURSE, Dec. 25, 8:30 p.m., Northstar Drive, Truckee: Sometime during the day an unknown suspect stole a purse that was left unsecured in a commercial building.
CHRISTMAS DINNER IN JAIL, Dec. 25, 10 p.m., Rainbow/Bear, Kings Beach: A male was arrested on six different Placer County warrants. He spent Christmas night in jail.
FIGHT, Dec. 27, 12:30 a.m., North Lake Boulevard, Kings Beach: Incident report taken for a physical fight that occurred between four males. Two of the males were gone on arrival; the remaining two males were uncooperative.
DRUNK, Dec. 28, 7:15 p.m., Northstar Village, Truckee: A drunk male in the Village was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Orange County.
BAR FIGHT, Dec. 29, 1:15 a.m., North Lake Boulevard, Kings Beach: Unknown suspect punched victim in the face while he was sitting at the bar.
DUI, Dec. 30, 12:30 a.m., Speckled Avenue, Kings Beach: Male subject turned over to CHP for a suspected DUI.
SUSPECTED DUI, Dec. 30, 2 a.m., Lake Forest Road, Tahoe City: Male subject was arrested for suspected DUI. Male was uncooperative so an emergency warrant was issued by a judge in order to draw blood at Tahoe Forest Hospital.
JUST LEAVE, Dec. 30, 3 a.m., North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe Vista: Male subject was arrested for public intoxication after refusing to leave a business.
FROZEN INTOXICATION, Dec. 31, 9:30 a.m., West Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City: A female was found passed out in her vehicle in 25-degree weather. She was taken into protective custody for public intoxication.
