Updated 4:19 p.m., April 24, 2013: The fire is considered suspicious and still under investigation according to the Truckee Police Department. Anyone with any information is asked to call Dectective Arnie Lopez, (530) 550-2336.

The historic C.B. White House in downtown Truckee caught on fire early Thursday morning, leaving the kitchen and the back part of the building damaged.

According to the Truckee Police Department, the fire was reported by a Spanish-speaking male around 3:40 a.m. on Thursday morning. Multiple departments responded to the blaze.

Donner Pass Road was closed this morning for two hours, re-opening around 9 a.m.
