The Town of Truckee is hosting early voting for Nevada County residents through Nov. 1, 2010. Voting will take place in the Town Clerk Department at Town Hall, 10183 Truckee Airport Road on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 5 p.m. Early voting allos voters to avoid the long lines at the polls on Election Day, and provides an alternative to mail-in ballots which were delayed this year to facilitate the race for the late Senator Cox’s seat in the Senate.
