Plein Air Painting Outdoors

Practice the art of seeing nature through painting outdoors, or “plein air” on the shores of Lake Tahoe. Learn from a live demonstration and personal instruction by award winning local landscape artist Ian Blackhall Scott. Class is open to students age 12 and over, and all ability levels. Students can practice watercolor or oil painting. Canvas and paper will be provided, but students must bring their own painting materials. A supply list will be provided after registration. This class takes place at Commons Beach in Tahoe City.
