October 18, 2012
10007 Bridge Street Truckee CA
The fourth annual Historical Haunted Tour on Thursday, Oct. 18 and Friday, Oct. 19 will be complete with spooky stories of years gone by and tales about residents from long ago. Talented singers and actors perform at entertaining stops including the downtown Mountain Home Center, Last Chance Saloon (know today as Bespoke), Pour House, Truckee’s old hospital (today the home of MOBO Law and know to some as the Old Joseph House) and Scraps.
The tour, scripted by the Truckee Donner Historical Society and Trails and Vistas, skillfully weaves together previously untold facts and fictional accounts with dramatic and scary twists. The 2012 tour is a fundraiser for the Truckee Donner Historical Society and Trails and Vistas art hikes. Tickets go on sale Sept. 7 at truckeehistorytour.com and the hauntings begin at Moody’s Bistro Bar & Beats.
