Be thankful at the Thanksjibbin’ rail jam held at Squaw Valley on Saturday, Nov. 27. This open entry, jam style competition will feature four classes for men’s and women’s ski and snowboard. Thanksjibbin’ judges will award cash prizes as well as butterball turkeys, smoked hams, and Cornish game hens for first, second and third place. Pumpkin pies will also be handed out as seen fit for style, creative tricks, and best retro outfit.
Registration with a $10 entry fee is from 3 to 4 p.m. on the day of the event. The competition will start at 5 p.m. and helmets are mandatory for all competitors.
