As part of its 30th anniversary celebration, Douglas Dale’s Wolfdale’s restaurant has remodeled its lower garden plaza and installed a legal size Bocce court. A game of Italian origin similar to bowling, Bocce is played with wooden balls on a long, narrow court. ‘Coming from an Italian family, as a kid I remember my dad playing it with friends,’ says Dale, 55. ‘It’s very social, low key, and kind of addicting.’
The casual setting is open nightly and free to dinner and bar customers. Wolfdale’s Cuisine Unique, which features Asian Fusion cuisine, offers a full bar from 5 p.m. and dinner from 5:30 p.m., with lakeside dining nightly during summer months.
