The Truckee Donner Public Utility District (TDPUD) is holding a special board meeting Nov. 29, at 7 p.m., to discuss a proposed 50-year contract with the Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems for the purchase of coal-fired electric power. This meeting is a public hearing only and the board will not be voting on the contract at this meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to receive written and/or oral comments from members of the public, however the board will discuss the future date when they will vote on the contract.
