Incline Village kids built monumental towers, mountains, a train engine, and even a scorpion over Presidents Day weekend. The catch? These creations were all built out of tiny green LEGO bricks.

About a quarter million 2-by-4-inch LEGO bricks were used to build innovative creations throughout the event, LEGO CL!CK, which was designed to spark creativity and celebrate those ‘light bulb’ moments when an idea clicks. The event was founded to help people of all ages realize that even the smallest moment of inspiration with something as simple as LEGO bricks can lead to the next big idea, said spokesperson Ashley Edwards.

This was the first LEGO CL!CK event and organizers were happy with its success, Edwards said. Hundreds of children and parents participated in the event.

‘It was kind of a free for all,’ Edwards said. ‘People could come in and start building.’
