Dear Former Clients,
As some of you may have heard, I am no longer working as a veterinarian at Sierra Pet Clinic. My practice approach and philosophies of care were not consistent with the new ownership, so we parted ways.
I became a veterinarian because it broke my heart to see animals suffering without being able to tell us where it hurt. Over the years, I have developed a deep sense of compassion for animals and their owners. I have always strived to give the utmost medical care to my patients while at the same time considering my clients’ emotional and financial needs.
It was my dream to work in a small mountain community where I could walk down the street and recognize Hercules and Marmaduke and Dakota … the dogs of Truckee are an amazing bunch! We all LOVE our pets and I truly believe that an integral part of veterinary medicine is forming a client-patient-doctor bond based on trust. Thank you so much for trusting me with the care of your beloved pets. It has been an honor working for you.
