Using a unique, self developed process, Incline Village artist Matt Dodge creates modern images that document contemporary man’s celebration of the eternal Earth. Dodge has been involved in the regional art scene since moving to North Lake Tahoe in 1991, and has an extensive body of Tahoe-inspired work.
‘An undeniable connection with the ancient energies which swirl through Tahoe — that is what drives my latest body of work,’ wrote Dodge in an email. The images, all on canvas, offer a new look for the artist, whose prior works were mainly on photographic paper. All pieces are hand colored and/or hand etched.
