In Passing
I had a client who was supposed to be coming home from Afghanistan after completing his tour-of-duty. He wanted to purchase a vacation home in Truckee. But Brendan Looney never made it home. His Blackhawk Helicopter crashed on Sept. 21 during a special operation, killing him and nine of his fellow Marines. Brendan was a 29-year-old Navy Seal, a close friend of my brother’s, a husband, a son, and a grandson. Please remember Brendan Looney, and all the men and women of our armed forces who sacrifice their lives to defend all that we have.
