From the Still

As a devout Moonshiner and lover of the free press, it has been a fun two years working at the still of the dearly beloved Moonshine Ink. I have made some great friends and become acquainted with so many thoughtful organizations, businesses and community members. It is a blessed thing to learn how lucky we are to have such great people as community members. I feel that luck and have enjoyed so much of it during my years Moonshining.

However, with a baby kicking my ribs and eight weeks to go on my first pregnancy, I am taking a break from my post at Moonshine Ink (permanent or temporary remains a mystery) as I have a wonderful new focus coming into my life. I will miss laughing with all of our fun advertisers, pushing the meaning of ‘deadlines’ ‘til the wee hours of the night and contributing to the ‘idea’ surplus pot that us Moonshiners revel in. I thank everyone for being so terrific to work with and feel very fortunate to be part of such a loving and caring community.

I am sure I will see a lot of you around on a regular basis and soon with our new little Zimmerman addition. Wishing everyone a wonderful holiday and thank you for a fantastic two years.
