First Annual Tahoe Art and Music Fest a Success

The turnout may have been small, but sprits were high at the first annual Tahoe Art and Music Festival, an event that organizer Chris Talbot says was meant to ‘celebrate the spirit of Tahoe.’ Talbot, a local photographer, organized the event with his brother, local singer-songwriter Darin Talbot in conjunction with the North Tahoe Public Utility District. The event served as a fundraiser for the North Tahoe Regional Park Playground Fundraising project and as a release party for Darin’s new self-guided tour of the Lake. KOZZ’s Max Volume and his band performed alongside with Darin. MacAvoy Lane, the ghost of Mark Twain entertained guests with stories of old Tahoe and a raffle was held.
