With the slow season creeping in, Dragonfly Restaurant and Sushi Bar is once again hosting a slew of special deals.
• Recession Special: Every Monday through Wednesday night, diners can enjoy a dinner consisting of salad, prawn Thai noodle bowl entrée, and dessert for just $24.
• Monday Night is Ladies’ Night: Dragonfly brings back a night that has proved popular with the sex smart enough to realize that Monday Night Football is worth leaving at home. From 5 to 9:30 p.m. on Monday evenings, ladies get half-priced sushi.
• Ten Percent to Nonprofits: Every Wednesday in October, a different deserving organization will garner 10 percent of the restaurant’s evening proceeds. Nonprofits that would like to be considered as a benefactor should contact Billy McCullough at 530-587-0557.
Lunch at Dragonfly is served from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; sushi from 4 to 9:30 p.m. and dinner from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Reservations are recommended. Sushi bar is first come, first served. Dragonfly is located upstairs at 10118 Donner Pass Rd., downtown Truckee, 530-587-0557.
