Dining for Schools Cards

    This is the 15th year that Tahoe Truckee Excellence in Education Foundation’s has offered Dining for Schools cards, which save the cardholder 50 percent at participating restaurants in the Tahoe-Truckee area. The cards, a major fundraiser for Excellence in Education, cost $45, and are valid at 40 area restaurants now through December 11, 2008, and April 19 through June 11, 2009 (Select restaurants honor the card January 4 through April 11, 2009). The cards, which raise over $50,000 annually for the Foundation, are available at all Back to School Nights, Porters Sport locations (Tahoe City, Truckee, and Incline Village), Save Mart (Tahoe City), Safeway (Truckee and Kings Beach), Mountain Hardware, and online at exined.org. 530-550-7984 or visit exined.org.
