Kristen Schwartz is an illustrator and 19-year resident of South Lake Tahoe. Her work is largely inspired by cultural mythology. This illustration is called Cave Rock Woman. It was created to illustrate the power of the sacred Washoe Indian site of Cave Rock. There are many legends surrounding the area and so much controversy.
