Maidens, Mothers and Crones – women of all ages, that is – are invited to gain wisdom and well-being at the Women’s Wellness Weekend (WWW) at the Village at Squaw Valley. The two-day event offered by Tahoe Forest Health System features esteemed health and wellness professionals from our community. Saturday’s program includes educational sessions focused on disease prevention for women, life balance, stress reduction, nutrition, natural solutions for hormonal changes, creativity and healing, skin care, breast health, and sex. Sunday is a health fair offering low-cost health screenings, group exercise classes, and a hike in Squaw Valley. Saturday 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 A $57 Lab Draw with Lipid Panel, full Cholesterol Screen, and complete Metabolic Panel is also available. On Saturday evening, Girls on the Run Sierras hosts the LUNAFEST film festival fundraiser, with short films made by women, about women, for women. The additional cost of $49 per person includes wine, food and the films. All WWW participants will receive $5 off admission price.
