Despite the luxury of being able to consult the internet gods anytime curiosity strikes, there are a great many questions that cannot simply be answered by just “googling it.” For instance, when you want to know how things work in our community, precise answers must come straight from the source. What do you think all of the resorts are going to do once people realize they can’t live around them because it’s too expensive and wages aren’t high enough. How are the mountains going to maintain employees?

Why doesn’t Squaw Valley have signs back to River Road letting people know the parking lots are full before you get to the bridge? I think if they did that it would eliminate a lot of the backup. I was stuck in traffic for two hours trying to get to Truckee because the stoplight only lets a certain amount of cars through at a time.
