We have all done things we regretted, either because we got hurt, it was a terrible experience, or for a multitude of other reasons.
This month’s question is: What is something you’ve done before, but would never do again – and why?
Heidi Strahl, Tahoe Donner
Lover of mountains
Work a 9-to-5 office job. I’m glad I tried it to know that I never want to do it again, because it is terribly boring.
Ray Collins, Incline Village
Snowboarder extraordinaire
Never, ever go to Disneyland without a FastPass, because it is a disaster of biblical proportions without that.
Hailey Sinoff, Prosser

I would never again ride a motorcycle while holding a surfboard without a helmet. I wouldn’t do it again because it just isn’t worth it. I realize now how easy it is to crash a motorcycle. Kind of glad I did it because I got to go surfing and it was a really good day, so I’m glad it worked out, but I’d never do it again.
Astrid Mendieta, Tahoe Donner
Fine artist
Serving. I’m a professional artist, and I want to have the time and energy to focus on that.

A 12-hour Greyhound ride from Northern California to Southern California. It’s a terrible experience. Being stuck at several stations along the way —“grueling” is a great word for it. You’re in the gauntlet of Greyhound stations.
