Just Out of Reach

~ Even after 25 years in Truckee, Pam McAdoo sometimes misses the farmland outside New York City where she was raised. She supplements her art-teaching gig at Sierra College with occasional work at Backstreet Framers, Villager Nursery, Cake Tahoe, Bookshelf Stores, and the Truckee Library. The arts are her passion, from drawing, painting, printmaking, and book arts, to music, dance, and architecture. With In the Moment, she pays homage to Paul Madonna, a cartoonist for the San Francisco Chronicle and published graphic artist, whose artful synthesis of text and reportage illustration has inspired her to add words to her visual records of North Tahoe and Truckee.
