The word 'murder' is so unpleasant, that when it comes to the approximate 12 million healthy cats and dogs being snuffed out every year, society has a convenient euphemism for the act: euthanasia. Because there is something so fundamentally wrong with this, cities around the country are trying desperately to go 'no kill' and stop the madness. Reno is joining the cause, saying yes to 'no kill' with the Nevada Humane Society (NHS) taking the lead.

Based on the statistics, what is the current status of the Tahoe-Truckee Real Estate Market? The number of sales for the entire region has dropped dramatically from 1,216 to 722 in the past two years. We see locals moving to Reno or other places 'off the hill' because they can’t afford to buy a house here. Price reductions are the order of the day and some sellers are offering bonuses to real estate offices to sell their properties. Realtors all over the region are trying to figure out what else to do to attract buyers.
