The February real estate sales period proved to be very consistent year over year. Within the Tahoe Sierra MLS region, 34 single-family homes sold this year versus last year’s total of 33. Median home price within the region was $1.4 million, which is 8% higher than last year. The average number of days homes spent on the market was 80. In February 2023, that number was 87. All micro-regions showed similar trends, with minor exceptions in the case of small sample sizes. In all micro-regions, sales took a dip from January, while median price was on the rise — with the exception of lakefronts, which had zero February sales.
