During the month of July, 75 single-family homes were sold within the Tahoe Sierra MLS region. This number was flat from June sales, while median price dipped by 13% and the number of homes actively listed for sale increased 9%. These are trends that indicate the market is beginning to normalize. In fact, in all micro-regions with the exception of lakefronts, we saw inventory increase and median price decrease, which should spark interest for buyers. Two significant lakefront sales in Incline Village — one at $15 million and another at $22.9 million — highlight a revitalized interest in Tahoe lakefronts after an exceptionally slow start to the year.
