Single-family home sales fell 47% from October to November within the Tahoe Sierra MLS region. Typically, we see the seasonal dip in sales in the month of October. This year, however, October sales were more similar to what we would usually see during September. The extended real estate season reflected the late start to summer after a ski season that lasted into July. Year over year, November sales were down by 18% with a total of 56 homes sold. Price was up 23% ($1.2 million) compared to the same period in 2022, while inventory was relatively flat (55 homes listed for sale) and the average number of days on the market (47) decreased by 18%.
