April has shown strong signs of incoming summer in Tahoe. Days on market fell sharply across most micro markets, signaling that well-priced homes are moving fast. The California Tahoe Basin rebounded with a $1,395,000 median price with 13 sales compared to 11 sales and a median price of $979,000 last month, while Incline Village held its premium pricing at a $2,600,000 median on 14 sales. The lakefront segment stayed quiet this month, possibly as buyers wait for warmer weather and a greater selection. With inventory gradually building, the stage is set for a competitive summer season for Tahoe real estate.
