In the month of March in the Tahoe Sierra MLS, we saw the overall sales volume dip by 15% month over month, with the biggest drop in the Truckee market, which fell by 22%. The Lake Tahoe Basin sales volume actually increased by 9%. The overall median sale prices were slightly higher both month over month and year over year in the Tahoe Sierra MLS. In addition, the active listing inventory has increased month over month by 12% and year over year by 25%. As we are amping up for the summer sales season, we expect to see a robust increase in properties listed for sale, suggesting that we will have a strong real estate year ahead.
