Truckee Rotary Hosts 2nd Annual ‘Stuff the Bus’ – August 22–23
Truckee, CA — The Rotary Club of Truckee, in partnership with Sierra Community House and the Contractors Association of Truckee Tahoe (CATT), invites the community to support the 2nd Annual “Stuff the Bus” school supply drive, August 22–23, 2025 at the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District Office, 11603 Donner Pass Road.
This United Way–inspired campaign collects new school supplies and hygiene items for TTUSD students from Pre K through 12th grade to ensure every child starts the school year prepared.
How to Help:
• Drop donations at locations across Truckee (Mountain Hardware, Town Hall, Grocery Outlet, Senior Center, and more) through Aug. 22.

• Bring last-minute donations to the “Stuff the Bus” collection event on Aug. 22 (2–5 PM).
Supply Distribution: Families in the TTUSD district can pick up backpacks and supplies on Aug. 23 (9 AM–4 PM) at the District Office.
Last year’s inaugural event served hundreds of students and highlighted the urgent need for this program. “A backpack full of supplies can mean confidence, readiness, and opportunity for every student,” said Lori Marquette, Rotary Club of Truckee.
