Truckee Lions’ St. Patrick’s Day March 14th Fundraiser

Celebrate the luck of the Irish with a delicious traditional Irish dinner, dessert, and a chance to win a
pot of gold — one of four $250 door prizes — at the Truckee Lions’ St. Patrick’s Day 12th Annual
Fundraiser, Sat., March 14, at the downtown Truckee Community Arts Center, 10046 Church St.

Proceeds from the event will pay for eye exams and prescription glasses for low-income children,
seniors, and adults.

Tickets are $45 per person, with kids six and under free. Each ticket includes dinner and dessert,
music, and a chance to bid on wonderful silent auction items donated by local businesses. Those
attending will have the chance to win one of the four $250 door prizes ($1,000 total). Cocktails start at 5
p.m. with dinner served at 6 p.m.

Silent auction prizes will include $1,000 worth of bulk landscaping materials and/or trucking from
Al Pombo, Inc.’s Hobart Mills Recycled Aggregate Yard; a pair of Palisades Tahoe lift tickets; a round
of golf for a foursome at Ponderosa Golf Course; gifts and gift cards from local businesses; and artwork.
“It’s a night of luck and laughter for a great cause,” said James Bartlett, club president.
