Tahoe Truckee Earth Day | Palisades Tahoe

April 20 @ 11:00 am - 5:00 pm

Free

This free, environmental-education event is a community tradition that takes place in The Village at Palisades Tahoe from 11am-5pm and allows kids and adults to learn about recycling, composting, alternative energy, and sustainability through hands-on activities the whole family can enjoy. The event provides residents and visitors an opportunity to learn about the various environmental issues that affect the North Lake Tahoe – Truckee Region. Plus, don’t miss hours of free live music by local bands.

The goal of Tahoe Truckee Earth Day is to connect the community with the people and resources found in our region who foster innovation, initiate change, and ultimately implement an equitable partnership for a green planet. The Tahoe Truckee Earth Day Festival is a zero-waste event. Food and biodegradable waste will be collected by volunteers of Keep Truckee Green and California Conservation Corps.
