We invite you to gather at the incredible Olympic Valley Chapel for Reigniting Reverence – a soul-nourishing fundraiser designed to rekindle connection, inspire presence, and support one of the region’s most iconic sacred spaces.

This collaborative gathering will feature an evening of movement, breathwork, and sacred music, led by a lineup of local and traveling movement facilitators, musicians, and healers: Kaila Leilani, Emily Tessmer, Matthew Hara, Joss Jaffe, Colleen Akiko, Colombe Tresan, Nicole Koch, and Tiffany Callaway.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Sierra Nevada and held within the architectural wonder of the Olympic Valley Chapel, the event invites guests to reconnect to themselves, to one another, and to the deeper meaning these sacred spaces hold in today’s world.

Originally built for the 1960 Winter Olympics, the Chapel is one of the last remaining structures from that historic event. Its unique design, a graceful, shell-like roof encircled by vibrant stained-glass windows, was envisioned to reflect the surrounding peaks and express the Olympic values of simplicity, beauty, and unity. Beyond its aesthetic allure, the Chapel stands as a spiritual sanctuary and architectural landmark, deeply woven into the identity of Olympic Valley.

“In a time when so many feel disconnected and overwhelmed, places like the Chapel offer something rare: stillness, beauty, and the reminder that we’re not alone,” says event co-organizer Kaila Leilani, a local acupuncturist, healer, and founder of ZIVA Wellness. “This gathering is an invitation to remember the power of presence and to support the longevity of a space that allows it.”

Reigniting Reverence is open to all, regardless of background or experience. Donations collected will directly support the preservation, stewardship, and future programming of the Olympic Valley Chapel as both a spiritual sanctuary and community gathering place for residents and visitors to North Lake Tahoe. This beloved space continues to serve as a hub for healing, connection, and reverent gathering, now and for generations to come.
