Free Electrification/Heat Pump Coaching for Tahoe Home & Building Owners

Truckee Tahoe residents and building owners are invited to a free virtual training on Go Electric Truckee Tahoe’s electrification coaching service, offering one-on-one support for switching from natural gas appliances to energy-efficient heat pumps. The session will also cover dual fuel systems as a cost-effective alternative, with practical strategies for reliable, cost-effective performance, including real-world examples and guidance for mountain climates.

Participants will learn how to:
– Navigate the electrification process from start to finish
– Connect with qualified local contractors
– Access available rebates and funding opportunities
– Complete an online home energy assessment

The Go Electric Truckee Tahoe program—formerly the Truckee Tahoe Building Decarbonization Pilot Program—is a joint initiative of the Climate Transformation Alliance and Sierra Business Council. The program supports regional efforts to reduce emissions, improve air quality, and prepare homes for extreme mountain weather conditions.
