THERESA MAY DUGGAN: Teresa O’Dette will represent the whole district, her experience and expertise will transfer smoothly to the Airport District, and it will be good to know she'll look out for the interests of the lakeside taxpayers — she's done that for us before.
MIKE SABARESE: Airport District candidate Stephens is an experienced leader who will support efforts that maintain what so many of us have come to love about Truckee and Lake Tahoe.
LYNNE R. LARSON: John Mohun stands up for the community and is concerned about the high costs of care; I fear Randy Hill will only serve those donors who have a financial interest in Tahoe Forest Hospital.
JANET WEES: With the growth we are seeing in the Truckee/Tahoe area, our community needs an organized leader that can be the voice for many. O’Dette is the most ideal candidate, hands down.
MARY HETHERINGTON: Wallace and Terry are non-pilots who are leaders in our communities and informed about the Airport District.
GREG JELLINEK: Tahoe Forest Hospital board member endorses Mohun for his advocacy of everyday citizen taxpayers.
CHRISTINA CAMPBELL: Stephens will stand up for all of the taxpayers of the Airport District.
ELLIE HYATT, JANET MANN, and KAREN WILLIAMS: Herrick is a community man and encourages citizen involvement in the government.
MARISSA SCHWARTZ: Question 3 will provide Nevadans with expanded electricity choices, lower prices, thousands of new green technology jobs, and technology innovation.
It’s unacceptable for people to abuse the system, break laws and trust, and have zero accountability. Mr. Gross and Mr. Schapper failed this community, the hospital, and now Mr. Newell has failed the taxpayers by setting the tone that corporate corruption is an acceptable form of doing business.
