X Games announced on Aug. 13 the four general managers who will build the first Winter Club rosters in MoonPay X Games League (XGL) history, while confirming X Games Club Whistler (XC Whistler) as the fourth and final founding XGL Winter Club ahead of the inaugural season beginning in January 2027.

Olympic champion Jonny Moseley will lead XC Golden State; action sports executive Dave Sypniewski will lead XC New York, alongside special advisor and winter sports pioneer Barrett Christy Cummins; athlete marketing leader Sharalee “Haze” Hazen will lead XC Park City; and Canadian action sports media executive Ryan Stutt will lead XC Whistler.

The four general managers will oversee roster construction, athlete strategy and club operations, beginning with the XGL Winter Draft on Sept. 16 in Los Angeles, where each will select a 10-athlete roster from among the world’s best skiers and snowboarders.

Moseley is an Olympic gold medalist, World Cup champion, and one of the most influential skiers of his generation. His groundbreaking performance at the 1998 Nagano Olympics helped spark the modern freeskiing movement, and he became the first skier to medal at both the Olympics and X Games. Following his competitive career, Moseley became one of skiing’s most recognizable voices as a television host and commentator while working with leading brands and organizations across the industry.

As general manager of XC Golden State, Moseley brings elite competition experience, business leadership and deep roots in Northern California and Lake Tahoe, where his skiing career began.
